However, we know of people whose trailers are over 15 years old and still going strong. Q. How long does it take to build a brand new catering trailer? A. Normally it takes between 4-6 weeks, however, timescales do depend on demand and at the time of purchase, we advise you of the build time. We always endeavour to build your unit as soon as possible. Q. Can I buy a catering trailer on Finance? A. Yes, this maybe possible, contact us for further details Q. What licences do I need to become a mobile caterer? A. You need your food hygiene certificate and to register with the Environmental Heath department of your local authority. You also need permission from the site in which you wish to trade. Q. Can I do mobile catering alongside my full time job? A. Yes, but that depends on how committed you are! Many people start this way by operating their trailers at the weekends and evenings and then become full time in the business. Q. Do you sell 2nd hand trailers? A. Yes we do, however, stock levels do fluctuate daily. Q. What warranty do I get on a brand new trailer? A. You automatically get a 12 months back to base warranty included in the price. Q.
